IMPACT Newsletter Summer 2010 (PDF)
With this edition of IMPACT, the Network welcomes three additional Treatment Service and Adaptation Centers. There is also coverage of the Network's disaster-related work in Haiti and American Samoa and articles on Network members in Texas and Montana.
Psychological First Aid Online
PFA Online is a free 6-hour interactive course in the Learning Center for Child and Adolescent Trauma that puts the participant in the role of a provider in a post-disaster scene. Appropriate for those new to disaster response and seasoned professionals, PFA Online features activities, video demonstrations, and tips from trauma experts and survivors. This project was funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, the National Center for PTSD, and the National Association of County and City Health Officials.

Caring for Children Who Have Experienced Trauma: A Workshop for Resource Parents
This workshop is designed to provide resource parents with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively care for children and teens in foster care who have experienced trauma. Participants will learn how trauma-informed parenting can support children's safety, permanency, and well-being, and engage in skill-building exercises that will help them apply this knowledge to the children in their care.
